Tom Bell is a prolific sketch and stand up comedian, in increasing demand for TV and radio as well as being a unique and exciting performer in the live circuit.
As a solo performer he has carved out an impressive CV, supporting the likes of Chris Addison and Lee Mack on their national tours, performing at numerous festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, and Green Man.
At the Edinburgh Festival he has been part of the sell out “Comedy Zone” show at the Pleasance and has performed four solo shows on the Free Fringe, the first of which (where he interviewed tapes of himself he made aged 7) was a “Scotsman” newspaper “Hot Pick” for the festival and has subsequently played to packed out crowds ever since in shows The Guardian described as “truly high quality."
He is regular MC at many nights in London and has performed for all the big promoters on the UK circuit including Avalon, Off The Kerb, Just The Tonic etc.
As one half of double act Tommy and the Weeks he has had three further hit Edinburgh Fringe shows at the Pleasance, performed alongside the likes of Rob Brydon and Graham Norton at huge charity events, has had two TV pilots and a radio pilot in production leading them to be described by the Guardian as “a future great British double act”
On top of this he is a published writer of fiction and essays, has given talks at Tate Britain, directed award-winning fringe shows and written and performed for numerous TV and radio sketch shows.
